I loved everything about Miramare. Its a beautiful, classical, elegant hotel that's full of class. The service is absolutely first class at GHM with wonderful staff all round. The front desk and concierge were brilliant and constantly went above and beyond for us. We had a standard park view room on the first floor which was superb and seemed more recently renovated as it seemed more modern compared to our friends room which was more classical but still lovely. Beds were superb as we're the showers. The pool area was our favourite area aswell as the hotels beach area. The piano player outside of an evening each night was also a lovely touch. It's a beautiful hotel where you'll be treated like a celebrity, don't waste your money staying in portofino, we were recommended to stay in Santa Margherita and i'm so glad we did and equally as glad that we stayed at the GHM. It's easily the best hotel in SM, no question. Portofino is a 10-15 minute bus away, 1 hour walk or 20 minutes by personal taxi boat ( which was a great way to get there ) Look no further, stay here.

We were upgraded on arrival, which is always a good start. Reception staff gave us a tour of the Hotel before taking us to our room, & that rarely happens. Even though we still had a Park View room it was very spacious with a walk in closet. A free mini bar of soft drinks that were replenished when used was a bonus. Although the prices for drinks/snacks/food in their bars/restaurants were on the high side, I think it was worth it for the service & attention to detail that was evident everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed the SPA facilities . The beach area had still not been opened & was being refreshed whilst there, but the main pool was clean & very good. Relatively small gardens front & back, but well maintained & presented.

Situated right on the water near Portofino, the location was simply breathtaking. The hotel's vintage architecture and decor transported me to a bygone era, creating a truly magical ambiance. The views of the water were mesmerizing, and I found myself immersed in the beauty of the surroundings. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service, making me feel like a valued guest. If you're looking for a unique and charming experience in a picturesque location, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a true gem that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

This iconic, and stunning, hotel has customer service down to a fine art. We had a spectacular stay! The pool staff were especially lovely, the beach was amazing (our son loved the jumping platform as well as the water trampoline) and the breakfast was delicious. We recommend eating it on the beautiful terrace. There is a spectacular old world charm at GHM, with all of the modern conveniences. The welcome treats and champagne in the room was an amazing touch!

We stayed in all the 5 star hotels in this area excelsior, imperiale and Miramare is definitely the best! It’s much more luxurious and everything is newer. Amazing breakfast, swimming pool, hotel, beach and the view from the sea view room is absolutely crazy.
